Welcome to Kitchener BC, a serene unincorporated community nestled 16 km (11 mi) east of Creston along the picturesque Goat River. Situated along the scenic Highway 3, the drive through Kitchener BC offers stunning views as the road follows the wide valley of the southeastward trending Kitchener Creek, before ascending towards the breathtaking crest of the Purcell Mountains.

In Kitchener BC, the Kitchener Improvement District is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of the community by providing safe, reliable, and clean drinking water. With a commitment to maintaining the highest standards set by the province, we take pride in our ability to deliver superior water quality and customer service to our residents and visitors. We have a surface water license to provide drinking water to approximately 70 properties within the improvement district.
